For the third consecutive year, the Fondation Jean Lapointe invites the public to participate in the 28 Day Sobriety Challenge. All funds raised will be used to educate more than 55,000 teenagers about the risks related to the use of drugs and alcohol.
Last year, 2,200 committed participants raised $115,000 for the 28 Day Sobriety Challenge. This year, the Fondation Jean Lapointe’s goal is $200,000. The previous editions have enabled us to reach more than 210,000 grade 7 students with our drug and alcohol prevention program.
“Participating in the 28 Day Sobriety Challenge is not just an ordinary, run-of-the-mill challenge, but a positive, original and inspiring experience for all. It is a unique challenge that helps you better understand the cause while supporting it. One can participate alone, with friends, colleagues or family. In any case, the objective is the same: spread the word about your involvement and encourage as many people as possible to participate! I am committed to our youth and the Fondation Jean Lapointe reaches over 55,000 young people! ” commented Nicolas Patard, president of the 28 Day Sobriety Challenge.
